By using our website, social media accounts and/or services, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by these terms. These Terms and Conditions, plus records on our booking system, Tutorcruncher, make up your contract with Nurture Learning UK Ltd. Any data will be used in accordance with the GDPR policy which can be found on our website.
Payments are taken each month in advance via the automatic payment system. These payments are non-refundable, regardless of your child's attendance. Credits will be given in the rare event of a tutor absence. Parents/guardians must give one month notice of cancellation via email to assistant@nurturelearninguk.com.
Nurture Learning does not employ tutors; each tutor is trained to deliver our lessons and is a qualified teacher with full DBS security checks and their own Public Liability Insurance. In the event that you are unhappy with the service provided by a tutor, please contact them in the first instance. If there are any unresolved or safeguarding concerns, please contact us on 01233 349033. If you believe a child may be in immediate danger, always dial 999. Nurture Learning has a thorough Safeguarding Policy which can be found on our website.
Please contact your tutor via their Nurture Learning email (detailed in your confirmation email) for any queries specific to their lesson. Full reports for other agencies may be requested at an additional fee. Please contact assistant@nurturelearninguk.com for more details.
Face to Face Lessons
The location of face to face tutoring is determined upon booking. Where the tutor is teaching within the child's home, this must take place with a parent/guardian on the premises at all times. Where the child is attending a lesson outside of the home, formal identification may be requested of any adult unknown to the tutor on collection. Parents/guardians must inform the tutor where another adult will collect and will be asked to agree a password.
By booking a Face to Face lesson, you agree that the tutor may take action, as per our safeguarding policy, should they become concerned about the wellbeing of your child. As parent/guardian, you agree that the tutor has permission to administer emergency First Aid and may share information with emergency services, if required.
Please note that there may be a session before and/or after your child’s. To avoid unnecessary disruption to all students a £10 late pick up fee will be incurred if your child is collected more than 5 minutes late repeatedly, or more than 10minutes late without exceptional circumstances. Please feel free to discuss this with your tutor further.
Virtual Learning
Virtual Learning is provided via our booking system, Tutorcruncher, and the platform Zoom. This is a virtual videoing platform that is free for parents/guardians to access. These real-time tutorials will not be recorded or shared on any other platform. Users are not permitted to take any screenshots or recordings without the Tutor's prior consent. To do so, will be considered an infringement of these Terms and Conditions and result in immediate action being taken, with the month notice of cancellation payable.
All sessions will require payment regardless of attendance. Any lessons not attended are non-refundable. Tutors will wait for participants for up to 15minutes and may end the lesson/not admit into an online group after this time. Lesson slots cannot be extended for late arrivals. It is the Parent/Guardians responsibility to test your device is ready prior to your time slot. Tutors are not responsible for any lesson time missed should a technical issue occur.
